The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Limited Edition delivers class-leading power and smooth performance thanks to its potent 999cc DOHC eight-valve parallel-twin engine, featuring legendary Yamaha reliability.
The advanced heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low-speed situations, a balanced feel when trail riding and maximum bottoming resistance at higher speeds. The wide-arc A-arms paired with the FOX® 2.0 iQS shocks deliver 14.2-inches of travel up front and an amazing 16.9-inches of travel in the rear. FOX® Intelligent Quick Switch puts the suspension settings in the hands of the driver. By choosing the preferred damping levels from a switch in the cockpit, there’s no more getting out of the vehicle to adjust your damping settings!
The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Limited Edition wraps next-level capability in imposing style, highlighted by an aggressive front-end look, rugged tires and a purposeful stance. The stealthy front LED headlights and “evil eye” marker lights give this new generation a distinctive look on the trail, and the LED taillight, brake light, and reverse light provide added visibility from behind. The Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) optimizes power delivery for a variety of situations through the Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Limited Edition’s revolutionary three-position selectable D-Mode settings. Power delivery in Sport Mode is ideal for wide open trails, sand and spirited driving; Trail Mode is perfect for fun, relaxed trail rides with smooth acceleration and linear throttle response; and for adventure seekers, Crawl Mode can take on slow technical situations like rock crawling with ease. In combination with Yamaha’s Ultramatic® and On-Command® systems, the Wolverine RMAX2 1000 Limited Edition delivers the perfect amount of engine braking by operating the throttle in accordance to the user’s selected D-Mode setting.
